Customer Quote

The beauty of Reportive is that once we had the basic data from IT, our departmental knowledge workers were able to create reports on their own. We can now modify key indicators in days instead of months, giving us the agility we need to adjust our strategy to changing market conditions.” Jean-Marie Jacquin, Marketing Intelligence Director , Eisai

Many of the world's largest pharmaceutical, automotive, financial and technology companies have deployed large scale reporting projects using the Reportive tools. The reason for Reportive's success lies in the integration within a single tool of all the capabilities required to manage the end-to-end reporting process: connect data, design report, send report and get feedback.

Customer Successes

Many of the world's largest pharmaceutical, banking, automotive and services firms are turning to Reportive to build adaptive reporting solutions for their sales and marketing teams. Some examples of customer success include:

When to use Reportive

Customers often turn to Reportive when they outgrow their home-grown, Excel-based reporting systems, but want to avoid the high costs and long timeframes associated with traditional, heavy-weight business intelligence systems.

  1. Replacing an existing, Excel-based reporting system. Excel is a powerful tool for basic reporting, but rapidly becomes complex for reports which must be individually customized (e.g., create territory sales reports for more than 10 territories) or when the reports themselves become large (e.g., create product reports with more than 25 pages per report).
  2. Alternative to heavy-weight traditional BI solution. Reportive has the advantage that reports can be prototyped and maintained by business analysts, greatly reducing the burden on IT to create new reports (as well as the time that the business unit must wait to create or change reports). Because of this, Reportive allows the business to adapt more quickly to changes in the business than traditional BI solutions.

Reportive is most commonly used for departmental reporting systems to support marketing and sales activities. In the marketing department, these activities include:

    • Evaluating market opportunity
    • Discovering unmet market needs
    • Tracking customer requirements evolution
    • Understanding the competitive landscape

In the sales department, Reportive is often used for generating reports to assess and improve sales performance:

    • Evaluating corporate performance against plan
    • Attaining visibility of sales, incentive and marketing effectiveness
    • Detecting discrepancies and potential gains
    • Mapping sales territories performance

The integration of the reporting process within the Reportive tool gives our customers a huge productivity advantage compared to traditional, heavy-weight business intelligence solutions which rely on many, loosely-coupled tools to produce enterprise reports.
