Christopher Keene, Chairman of the Board
Christopher Keene is an adjunct Professor and Entrepreneur-in-residence at INSEAD. In 1991, he founded Persistence Software, managing and caching data for high transaction systems. Persistence investors included Cisco, Intel, Reuters and Sun. In 1999, Persistence Software went public and was sold in 2004 to Progress software. Before founding Persistence, he was an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company in New York and Hamburg. Before that, he worked at Ashton-Tate and Hewlett-Packard. Keene earned an MBA from the Wharton School. He holds a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Mathematics from Stanford University.
Jean-Stéphane Bonneton, Board Member
Jean-Stéphane Bonneton Investment Director, Iris Capital Jean-Stéphane Bonneton is in charge of investments within the communications and IT industries, focusing in particular on network technologies and electronics. He is currently on the boards of directors of Ornis, Soft2you, Everbee, Artech and Idealx. Prior to joining the Iris, he was Senior Director of Strategic and Business Planning for IP Services at Global One. Previously, he worked for France Telecom, where he was responsible for the international deployment of its IP and ATM backbone. He is a graduate of the French Ecole Polytechnique and Telecom Paris engineering schools (Paris) and completed a Master's Degree in Technology and Management at MIT (Boston) and a Management Executive Program at the Theseus Management Institute (Sophia Antipolis, France).
Antoine Colboc Capital Risk Director, Crédit Agricole Private Equity Antoine Colboc joined Credit Agricole Private Equity in 2000 as a Capital Risk associate director. As an engineer from the Ecole Centrale de Paris, he dedicated his career to the hi-tech sector, starting in 1977 at IBM in sales and marketing. In 1985, he joined the ECS group, European leader of computer rental equipment, where he quickly became general manager of the UK and then the Japanese branches. In 1993 he became associate director at Russell Reynolds, in charge of the telecom and hi-tech industries. Colboc co-founded Netcre@tion in 1999, a management consulting company specialized in seeding and nurturing early hi-tech start-ups.
Bart Markus Partner, Wellington Partners Bart Markus focuses on investments in the enterprise software and applied materials areas and manages the firm's investments in Covast, Reportive, NaWoTec and Meiosys. Previously, he worked for Hal Investments as an investment manager and set up ePearle, a B2C eCommerce company. Before this, he was an associate at McKinsey & Company. Markus holds an engineering degree (M.Sc.) in Applied Physics (1990) from Twente University (The Netherlands) and an MBA from INSEAD (1997).
